Re: CSV file failed to be imported

Hello,

can you tell us what information is written in that CSV file?
How are you reading that file? Also, if possible, share your scene file.

Cheers

Re: Objects freeze mid air on resetting position

Thanks again for the input.

You mentioned earlier that the problem doesn't happen with a minimalistic scene. Could you in that case send us (via email, will remain confidential) the full scene then?

I'd be very grateful for that.

Re: 3 DoF Revolute joints like spherical joint

In next release (V4.2.0+), there will be a scene illustrating exactly this: scenes/eulerAngles.ttt
You may contact us to get it in the mean time.

Re: Objects freeze mid air on resetting position

Thanks for that information about a possible workaround.
Still very frustrating for us not to be able to reproduce that bug, thus not being able to fix that.
Are you running the remote API while this happens?

Re: 3 DoF Revolute joints like spherical joint

Hello, you just have a problem with the order of your joints and possibly also with the sign. Your 3 revolute joints should obviously perpendicular with each other. The Z axis should be mounted on the Y axis, itself mounted on the X axis. But your right cylinder is initially not aligned with the wor...

Re: Coppeliasim Crash

If your customization script encounters an error, it will stop working. And that's when your remote API probably also stops working correctly. Why don't you connect to the remote API server service that is running by default on port 19997? If you do that, you do not need to explicitly start that rem...

Re: Python Remote API IK Mode--Joints Spaz Out

Hello, first, you can do exactly the same kind of IK operations with the new, scripted IK functionality : once your IK task is prepared, you can simply move the target and the mechanism (e.g. kinematic chain) will follow. You can do this locally, but also remotely of course (e.g. from a remote API c...

Re: question about model parts' size/position changing

Please adjust the mass and/or inertia of your dynamically enabled wheels (not the visual wheels). This behaviour is directly related to the design considerations for dynamic models, point 7-8.

Re: Gripper Control and General Control Question

The way that model is handling gripping is different than what happens in reality, since physics engines are not capable of replicating the same behaviour without too many flaws. So have a look at the gripper when inversing the visibility layers , and you'll see how it really operates. If you want t...

Re: Coppeliasim Crash

Hello, why do you stop/restart the simulation from a plugin ? This is something very specific, and you are probably much better off doing that task inside of an add-on , or best, inside of a customization script . See here for an example. You can however suppress those messages by setting doNotShowC...
