Re: e-Puck Robot won't stop in front of obstacle

Just change the inertia via the GUI. That's the easiest, since you only need to do that once.

Re: MATLAB messing api file called sim.m

Well, you stay very vague with your description. From Matlab you can basically do the same things as from Python, using the remote API . The remote API (external, asynchronous) in itself does not have as many API functions as the regular API (internal, synchronous/asynchronous), but you can always f...

Re: e-Puck Robot won't stop in front of obstacle

Hello, my best guess is that this is directly linked with the physics engine. Try to switch to another engine, or try to select a more precise dynamics configuration mode . But the best is probably to slightly increase the mass and inertias of the wheels/body, following the dynamics design considera...

Re: MATLAB messing api file called sim.m

Matlab works differrently. It works with a prototype file (remoteApiProto.m) which describes the available functions in the remote API library, and some wrappers in remApi.m.

Re: MATLAB messing api file called sim.m

Hello,

not sure what file you are talking about. There was never such a file (i.e. vrep.m nor sim.m). What is it supposed to contain or do?

Re: remoteApi plugin problem

In your CoppeliaSim bundle, in coppeliaSim.app/Contents/Resources , there is a file remoteApiConnections.txt . Can you copy that file to coppeliaSim.app/Contents/MacOS and see if that works? (make sure to restart CoppeliaSim). If not, please try to start a remote API server service inside of a child...

Re: simxGetIntSignal C++ API function with simxDefaultSubscriber to

Hello Florent, using the B0-based remote API , you have several possibilities: you can use a callback for each signal as you mentioned it you can use a string signal that codes all sensor values inside of the same signal, e.g. sim.setStringSignal ('sensors', sim.packFloatTable (sensorReadings)). You...
