Because it is empty, even angle parameters. The only 3 incorrect (because as far as I understand LaserScan message and physics it cannot be negative) values in the end of 'ranges' array are present. Hello, I have the same trouble. The suggested by you sensor model " Hokuyo URG 04LX UG01_ROS.ttm " is based on RosPlugin instead of RosInterFace . So I didn't find any example how to publish correct LaserScan message to ROS topic. My VREP version is 3.5.0 and it seems like precompiled RosPlugin '.so...
