Importing a path and replaying it

Hi, A few years ago I imported a 3d path from a csv file, attached the end of my robot arm to that path and replayed the path so that the tcp followed the route. (The hole idea was to record the joints movement) Since then I forgot the process and hopes the one could maybe help me here. 1. How to im...

Re: What is a relatively large principal moments of inertia?

Hi again Sorry for the slow reply. I'm using Vortex engine and it seemed to do the trick just increase the moment of inertia with a factor two. I'm working with a very small robot so maybe very small values can be a problem. But thanks for the reply I will keep that in mind. Best regards Alexander

What is a relatively large principal moments of inertia?

Hi, I'm working in a bio-inspired robot which is formed as a stick insect. I scaled up the robot by 5 times, because I got some undesired behavior. Now most of the problems are gone, but I still have some problems with high spikes in force sensor values and the robot exploding. I think that maybe it...

Grouping joints or setting dynamic properties through the api.

Hi

I have multiple joints and want to change their properties all at once. Can this be done through the API or is there somehow to group joints so they shares dynamic properties (such as maximum torque and velocity limits)?

Best regards

Small insect size hexapod sinks into the ground

Hi fellow V-REP users I'm new to V-REP and i have created a insect size hexapod in V-REP. The total length of the robot is 90 mm and the legs are made form cylindic shapes with a diameter of 3 mm. (So the robot is very small) My problem is that when the robot is standing on the ground it is slowly s...
