Re: Problem with joint turning

Hi coppelia, Thank you for quick reply. I solve the large jumps problem, thanks to your direction. My robot does walk more normally, but still a little weird, https://pan.baidu.com/s/1jIL2CPg look like it's lame. I try to adjust the mass/inertia and some parameters of the robot, but they don't work....

Problem with joint turning

Hi I'm simulating the walk gait of my quadruped robot, I use simSetJointTargetPosition to control the joints of my robot, joints are set to Torque/force mode and control loop enabled, position control , but when I start simulation, I find the rotation angle of joint is really large. The codes of whe...

Questions about joints

Hi, I am trying to use V-REP to simulate the walk gait of my quadruped robot, I am confused by some troubles. first, how could joints operate as the following graphs depicted, the curve is composed by some sine functions. https://timgsa.baidu.com/timg?image&quality=80%20&size=b10000_10000&sec=150666...

Re: how to attach two objects using force sensor

Hi, I adjust the mass and inertia ratios, the simulation result seems to be alright. So is it ok to leave force sensors in the position in scene as shown in the picture? https://timgsa.baidu.com/timg?image&quality=80%20&size=b10000_10000&sec=1505277716177&di=8ae35d66c3adbebe849aff16cb76a9f4&imgtype=...

Re: how to attach two objects using force sensor

Hello, first of all, if two parts are fixed relative to each other, and if they have the same material property (e.g. coeff. of friction), then group them! On the other hand, if two parts are fixed relative to each other, but do not have the same material property, then place a force sensor between...

how to attach two objects using force sensor

Hi guys, I am building my own robot by V-REP importing meshes from SoildWorks, when I started the simulation, the robot broke up into pieces. So do I need to attach these objects together? I found that in the tutorial that we could group them or using force sensors to attach them. My problem is how ...

Re: Difference between "Merge" & "Group"

Hello, when you merge two shapes , you obtain a simple shape with a single color and attributes. Two merged shapes can not always be divided (unmerged) to restore the initial state. when you group two shapes, you obtain a grouped shape with different colors and attributes. You can always ungroup a ...

how to select all objects quickly

Hi everybody,

I am learning V-REP recently,
I imported nearly 100 objects into V-REP, how could I select all of them using a easy way, does it have any shortcuts?

Thanks a lot!
