Re: RosInterface custom message

Yes, you have to add the msg package as a dependency of vrep_ros_interface as well.

Re: rosInterfacePublishService bug

For the record, the meaning of "malformed table (bad key type)" is that a string key was expected when reading a Lua table (the ROS message), but something else was found (e.g. a float). For example, a table such as {10,20} or {1=10,2=20} would raise such exception, while {a=10,b=20} would not. Your...

Re: brics_actuator/JointPositions do not work

Ok. There is an issue with message types specified with only message name without package name (i.e. Poison instead of brics_actuator/Poison). This issue has been reported and fixed by Leo Koppel, and the corresponding pull request has been merged already, so the problem should be fixed with latest ...

Re: brics_actuator/JointPositions do not work

HI, well compiling worked fine bevor. adding the new massage brics_actuator/JointPositions to the message.text produces this error. So if there is no poison message, why did he find it bevor. Poison is a field of the JointPositions message: http://docs.ros.org/hydro/api/brics_actuator/html/msg/Join...

Re: brics_actuator/JointPositions do not work

I copied the programming/rospackage to my workspace. Compiling works fine, till I add brics_actuator/JointPositions to messags.txt. Than I receive following: (catkin build) $ catkin build ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Profile: defau...

Re: ROS publishing tf info

That sounds very strange. There is no code for explicitly inverting those values in the RosInterface plugin. All messages are composed of other messages or basic types (int, float, string), and the TransformStamped message is no exception. Try to display the TF tree in R-Viz: does it appear incorrec...

Re: problems running V-REP on macOS Sierra

Hello, I'm running V-REP 3.3.2 rev3 on macOS Sierra, but I don't experience any crash.

Do you perform any operation to trigger the crash? Can you describe the steps to trigger this crash?

Re: ROS interface compilation fail

I just tested Ubuntu 16 + ROS Kinetic + V-REP 3.2.2 and it works like in older release.

Re: ROS interface compilation fail

OK, I found out that I just needed to set those variables in packages CMakeLists.txt like this: set(roslib_LIBRARIES "/opt/ros/kinetic/lib/roslib") Also before building, I had to compile and install globally brics_actuator from Github, because it's not present in Kinetic. you don't need any of that...
