You can use the example I posted in

I ran without simulation start/stop or dummy creation and it crashed after 2500 seconds.

I have not tested it without start+stop or dummy creation. I created a dummy so that I could visually check that the program was still running. In my real code I don't create a dummy, but create links for a robot and it still crashes.
