Empty actuators folder

Just installed v-rep 3.1.1 pro edu on windows 7. There are no files in the folder: C:\Program Files\V-REP3\V-REP_PRO_EDU\models\components\actuators

this is not a bug. The folder currently doesn't contain any actuators. You can add joints via [menu bar --> Add --> Joint --> ...]

Sorry about the false bug report.

By the way, is there a way to make an actuator similar to a muscle? A muscle could be modeled as a prismatic joint and a spring. Are there springs in V-Rep?
Edit: Scratch that. Found it.

Yes, you can model springs/dampers in V-REP. There is an example in Models/examples/spring-damper.ttm
