I get the following error 'Currently there is an error in CoppeliaSim with distance objects. ' when using the distance module. When will the error be corrected.? I download the simulator from https://www.coppeliarobotics.com/downloads yesterday.

this error message does not originate from CoppeliaSim. Maybe you are using a third-party plugin/etc. ?
The error was fixes in December already, and if that error appears, this means that the third party software component hasn't been updated since then.
