How to simulate a lathe machine?

Dear Coppelia,

I wonder if we can simulate a lathe machine in V-Rep?

As I read some papers and watched some videos of the CIROS (formally COSIMIR), which supports a number of CNC machine models.

It will be great if the forum can provide some Festo Multi FMS models and scenes in V-Rep. In such a manner, I can teach students on robotics, PLC and CNC. Indeed I am going to do some work on this, but don't know where to start.

Hello,

V-REP can be used to cut through simple meshes. But the cut is not a volumetric cut, as you probably want to have.
