Noisy acceleroemter measurement?

Post by yangxingjian95 »

The accelerometer is fixed on the robot with axes aligned with the world coordinate. When the robot is moving straight along x axis, the measurement of the accelerometer is very noisy, its acceleration on y-axis obtains the same magnitude as on x-axis. Is there any setting about the noise?

Hello,

there is no noise added directly. If there is noise, then it comes directly from the physics engine. Check if all physics engines produce similar noise.

Cheers
