How can I get a large simulation environment for coppeliasim?

Hey Admin,

I already have a simulation environment for coppeliasim, but which is not large enough to do the final system testing. I need a larger environment for system testing like airport environment or large mall or big warehouse. Is there a way to get the large environment which is built or modeled by someone for coppeliasim ?

I have simulation environement from gazebo, but there are ,world format. Any link to get pre built simulation environment in coppeliasim supported formats?

Hello,

you can import various file formats with CoppeliaSim, including URDF and SDF (via the plugin menu item). Other than this, you can of course import simple meshes in various other formats, including STL, OBJ, Collada, etc.

I had tried to import some obj format 3D object, such as a building. However, each time I import this type of object, all the color features are lost.

do I miss some setups for importing such format object?

Hello,

currently color and texture features are only supported via the Collada format import option.
