[Matlab][VREP][Motor velocity unity]

Post by victorcv_s »

I'm writting a code to control the robot with MATLAB. In this line:

[returnCode]=vrep.simxSetJointTargetVelocity(clientID,left_Motor,velocity,vrep.simx_opmode_blocking); I put velocity = 0.5
[returnCode]=vrep.simxSetJointTargetVelocity(clientID,left_Motor,0.5,vrep.simx_opmode_blocking);

but which is the unity? i'm trying to control a motor from "Pionner_p3dx" and i can't found the correct unity for this velocity just looking for this number and how much the robot moves in simulation.

Hello,

API units are MKSA or SI units. Prismatic joints are expressed in meters, revolute joints are expressed in radians.

Cheers
