Hello. I created a robot model in blender and I want to use it in V-rep. When I import it into v-rep, the colors of objects change. It is able to keep colors on objects what i added to model in blender?
thank you
Bela
Blender model color in Vrep
Re: Blender model color in Vrep
Hello Bela,
How are you exporting the data in Blender? Only COLLADA format will be searched for colors during import. Additionally COLLADA can be quite complex and not all specifications are supported during import in V-REP.
Cheers

Hello!
I used .stl, and .obj file format.
I imported it as Collada, but colors doesn't work and cable shapes aren't imported.
Thank you your answer.

Re: Blender model color in Vrep
Hello Bela,
As I wrote previously, stl and obj format do not contain color information.
Trying to export to collada from Blender then importing that collada in V-REP kept the colors. There might be exceptions, depending on how your model is described in Blender.
Cheers

Thank you your answer. I imported in collada, but colors dont appear. Creating new model would be the best solution, but i don't have precise plan(map) about neobotix mp500.

You can easily change the color of ungrouped shapes, refer to the shape dialog.
To ungroup a shape, select it, then click [Menu bar --> Edit --> Grouping / Merging --> Ungroup selected shapes]
