Hi guys,
I encountered a problem during testing joint connection. As shown in the below youtube video, the joint dropped down a little at the beggining of simulation. What's wrong? I read the document carefully and checked the joint properties. But I couldn't find the flaw.
The scene file is here:

Does any has some ideas?
Best regards.
The joint made a little movement at the begginning of simulation.
Re: The joint made a little movement at the begginning of simulation.
Have a look at the considerations in Designing dynamic simulations, especially points 6, 7, 8.

Hi fferri,
Thanks for your reply. It worked after I improved the mass to satisfy Consideration 7. I was careless not to check the mass ratio.
Besides, when I tried to adjust engine parameters when simulation wasn't running, the parameters shown gray and can't be configured. is it configuable? Or I need to adjust it in another manner.
Best regards.

Re: The joint made a little movement at the begginning of simulation.
You mean the first three on the right in the Simulation settings dialog?
You have to select custom dt to be able to change those.

Well, I mean the setting described in https://www.coppeliarobotics.com/helpFi ... Dialog.htm, Which is mentioned is "Design Consideration 6" which you adviced me to read.

Same thing. You can change the values if you select Configuration to Customized

It worked. Thank you so much. : )
