Hello,
I'm recently trying to use the old version 3.5 since I need the mill function. I have some questions about this feature and need your help.
1. In the old version, Is the mill function only used for the surface of a convex hull? Is volume removal possible (I hope to achieve the mill operation on a solid object)? As far as I know, the 3D geometry imported into Coppeliasim are all hollow meshes, so I am not sure whether the volume removal is available.
2. If volume removal is possible, how to import a solid geometry? Are STL, OBJ or other format files capable of such a purpose? Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you very much!

Re: Some concerns about Mill function in the old version!
Hello,
the mill functionality in the old CoppeliaSim version was only milling the shell of meshes. I.e. no volumetric material removal. We might add that functionality again, once we have a good solution for volume milling.
Cheers
