Triangle Edit Mode - selection problem

Hello,

I have a problem with the triangle shape edit mode tool.
It does not allow me to select correct triangles with mouse-click on triangle of 3-D model. It works however when I click on triangle in the left menu, but it is not feasible option with more complex shapes where I need to select correct triangles out of many possible.
Here is the recording I made on a simple shape (note that when clicking on shape or selecting whole shape only one triangle is getting selected, I manage to select other triangles only from the left-hand menu).

What could cause such problem and how to solve it?

Here is the output when I start CoppeliaSim from a terminal, maybe it can be of any help, there is a line that says QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root'
could it be a problem?

Probably an issue with graphic card or its drivers

What happens if you export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 like mentioned in this other topic?
