How can I access older version?

The new Qt5 version does not work correctly with nvidia optirun. I find older version from my friend, but it would be great to have a page having links to older versions.

Did you try the last release (V-REP 3.1.0)? When you start it, you are able to customize the openGl settings, and I would be surprised if you were not able to make it work by doing that.
What kind of visual effects do you have, or what is the problem with the NVidia optirun?

Yes, I try V-REP 3.1.0. Actually, I tried different OpenGL settings, but I could not make it work. My screenshot after running V-REP can be seen in the following image. There is no error message on the console. I can run, if I do not run with optirun, but rendering performance is very low as expected.

Your problem is really linked to your graphic card/driver. Did you have a look here?

Only following openGl settings might have an effect in your case:

• Use glFinish when rendering a page
• Desired openGl version
