Software crash issue after using Shape Edition

I imported an STL file in Coppeliasim and wanted to simplify its grid count. However, after using Shape Edition to complete the editing of the grid, I exited Shape Edition and encountered a program crash. I repeated the operation several times, but all of them experienced a crash after exiting Shape Edition. How can I solve this problem?

can you share a link to the scene and indicate which shape is involved in the crash, so that we can try this here?
In the mean time, try to simplify the shape by other means, e.g. mesh decimation ([Menu bar > Edit > Decimate shape(s)...]), etc.
